CVAS July Picnic - Jul 23rd

The annual CVAS July picnic will again be held in the Fort Concho Commissary this year.  CVAS will be providing the meats and we ask everyone bring a side dish and/or dessert.  It will be on our usual 4th Thursday, July 23rd.  Bring any unusual archeological items you might want to share or ask questions about.  We will need volunteers to show up early to help set up.  Volunteers need to show up around 5:30 p.m.  General show time will be 6:15 p.m with dinner as soon as we get it all set up.

3D image of Underwood Site

If you are using Firefox do not try to load it into the browser.  I tried that and it doesn't work.  You must right click on the link and download the file to someplace on your computer, like a Temp directory.  If you have the free Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer you can just double click on the file once it's downloaded to bring it up and manipulate it.

If you are using Internet Explorer you can load it directly into your browser and it will work.

Once it's downloaded use the left mouse button held down to manipulate the 3D image.  The middle roller wheel on the mouse will zoom it in and out.  You can look at it from any angle.  The beginning angle is looking from the top down.
